Fire Guard – Safety against Fire
Aerolite Non Cementitious Calcium Silicate ceiling tiles are NON COMBUSTIBLE as per the requirements of BS 476 Part 4
- Spread of Flame – Class 1 (BS 476, Part 7)
- Fire Propagation – Class 0 (BS 476, Part 6)
- European Norms Classification
- ✓ A1 – Non Combustible
- ✓ s1 – No Smoke
- ✓ d0 – No flaming droplets
- When installed on fire rated T grid suspension system, the ceiling system has potential to provide more than 2hrs structural protection against fire (Steel Beams)
- Most recommended ceiling system in High Circulation areas

Bio-Safe
Anti-microbial
- Aerolite tiles are inherently Antibacterial/Antifungal
- BioSafe tiles have special treatment on the surface of the tile that acts against fungus and bacteria
- Tested against E-Coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Aspergillus niger (Mold), Candida Albicans (Yeast)
Cleanability
- Aerolite tiles are cleanable, can be cleaned with dampened cloth after dusting the tiles
Air Quality
- Aerolite ceilings emit zero VOC(No formaldehyde)
Humidity
- Humidity breeds fungus
- Humidity resistant ceilings prevent growth of fungus
- Aerolite manufactures only RH100 products
- RH100 ceilings are excellent for hospital environment

Aqua Resist
Aerolite Non Cementitious Calcium Silicate ceiling tiles doesn’t
e their physical integrity even when exposed to water droplets - Needless to say. Aerolite are 100% RH resistant (Extremes of Humidity & Temperature)
- Doesn't soften & sag in high humid environments
- Doesn't demand an air conditioned space to perform well
- Can be stored and installed in all weather conditions..!!
- This enables easy &
quick installation and early occupation & use of building - Can be safely used even in INDUSTRIAL , SEMI-EXPOSED locations and over STANDING WATER conditions (Over Indoor swimming pools)
EN 13964 - Classes of Exposure
Class Conditions A Building components generally exposed to varying ralative humidity up to 70% and varying temperature up to 25° C but without corrosive pollutants
B Building components frequently exposed to varying humidity up to 90% and varying temperature up to 30° C but without corrosive pollutants C Building components exposed to an atomsphere with a level of humidity higher than 90% & accompanished by risk of condensation D More severe than the above DETERMINATION OF TILE PERFORMANCE

Gradient
Aerolite Non Cementitious Calcium Silicate ceiling tiles has outstanding thermal insulation properties which are superior to that of any other ceiling material
- Very low thermal conductivity of ≤ 0.05 W/m°K
- Doesn't warp under major temperature GRADIENT above the ceiling (plenum) and below
- Hence, no limitations for use in Industrial applications (Under metal roof truss structures)
- Helps to maintain room comfort at all times and saves heating and cooling expenses
-
Is Aerolite just an other Cal-Si board ??
Calcium Silicate boards that are available in the market are traditionally designed and manufactured predominantly for wall partition application. They are very heavy (10mm thick board > 10kgs/Sqm) and are not safe for suspended ceiling application.
- Pure Calcium Silicate Binder (No added Cement) formed by reacting Lime & Silica under steam pressure, this is similar to Refractory Heat Insulating Material that has excellent heat Insulation properties (Very low thermal conductivity of ≤ 0.05 W/m°K) Hence our tiles doesn't easily crack when exposed to fire unlike other calcium silicate boards..
- 33% more efficient in saving HVAC energy costs in comparison to regular Cal-Si boards
- Low density (Avg Density of 350 Kgs/m 3 ) – Light Weight Ceiling tiles
- Integral Densified Tile edges – Offers excellent edge strength to the tiles, enabling frequent access to plenum with no damage to tile’s edges
- Molded product with endless possibilities on molded design patterns
